News: Notice of CORA Annual Meeting

The Annual Meeting of the City of Ottawa Ringette Association will be held in Ottawa on Monday, June 6, 2016 at 7:00 PM. at Elmwood Hall, Jim Durrell Recreation Centre.

The meeting is open to all members of the association. 

At this meeting those in attendance will review the annual financial report and budget for 2016-17. In addition vacancies for the Board of Directors will be filled.

News: Equipment Collection

Equipment return night will be on Thursday April 28th from 6:30 to 8:30PM at the Jim Durrell Complex. Please bring your entire set of team jerseys as well as rings, cones and first aid kits that were distributed at the beginning of the year. Any deficiencies with jerseys/equipment should be identified and the Association should be reimbursed prior to equipment return. Thank you for your cooperation and we hope you had an enjoyable season.

News: The New Ringette Camp in the City
Two dedicated CORA parents have joined forces to offer an alternative to the usual summer ringette camps, the inaugural Superb Ringette Camp will take place August 22-26, 2016 at the RA Centre.  Coach Karen Cameron and fellow CORA parent, Jodi Murray, have put together a camp is primarily for players born 2004-2006 that will focus on the specific development goals of that age range.  For further details, please read the Note to Parents or to Register complete this Ringette Camp Registration Form

News: Ontario Ringette Association Leadership Camp Enrollment Deadline Extended

Due to some unforeseen issues with the new registration system for the Leadership Camp,  the deadline to apply has been extended to April 20th.

News: Reminder: U14 & U16 Competitive Tryouts

This is a reminder that CORA trouts for U14 AA/A & U16 AA/A start this week.  If your daughter is participating in these tryouts, please take note of the following:

  • All players must have completed their ERRA Competitive Tryout Registration.
  • All players must have completed their CORA 2016-2017 Ringette Season registration.
  • The tryout fees of $50 must have been paid as part of their CORA registration OR they may bring $50 cash to the tryout.
  • Optional warm up sessions take place on Tuesday, April 12; the cost is $10 and it may be paid as part of their CORA registration OR they may bring $10 cash to the warm-up session.
  • If your daughter has lost or outgrown her tryout jersey, a new one must be purchased for Tryouts; the cost is $30 and it may be paid as part of their CORA registration OR they may bring $30 cash to the first tryout session.
